LG today confirmed few of its upcoming products expected this year. First and foremost is its entry into the tablet market with an Android-based tablet PC. Although the intrinsic specifications are not revealed, they’ll launch the tablet in Q4 of this year.
Furthermore, LG will announce more phones in its Optimus range. The Optimus family will get three new Android 2.2 running devices – Optimus One, Optimus Chic and Optimus Z (LG-SU950/KU9500). Optimus One will be loaded with Google Services, Optimus Chic will go for the entry-level Android crowd and the top-end Optimus Z will feature a TI OMAP3630 CPU, 3.8-inch display with capability to shoot HD videos, HDMI-out and DLNA.
LG will also launch a Windows Phone 7 device by end of this year.
