Microsoft has unwrapped the all new Hotmail email service that brings a lot of features in addition to the UI revamp. Microsoft promises to give us “back our inbox” which will give us more liberty to control not only our Hotmail inboxes but also of other email services like Gmail.
More features include viewing and updating of statuses to over 70 different websites right from the inbox, an Active View to instantly see links, photos, videos in the emails, Office Web Apps integration, improved security and Exchange ActiveSync that allows automatic syncing of emails, calendars, contacts and tasks to the Windows Mobile phone.
The new Hotmail will be rolled out to all consumers in the coming weeks but for now.
