Apple dedicated site, Apple Insider has got on good word that the Mac maker will soon out the revamped Macbook as well as iMac line, as part of the upcoming holiday season. The sub-$999 13-inch polycarbonate Macbook will be the most cost effective Macbook Apple has built till date and will also sport a new industrial design, eventually making it thinner. It is also said to have a non-user replaceable internal battery.
As for the iMac, the all-in-one computers will also sport a new design, better pricing, couple of enhancements (one related to audio) and Blu-ray integration.
The announcement is expected any time before mid-October.
