Apple India releases pricing details of new Mac products

Apple India was quick to put a price and availability details to the new Mac products that were unveiled yesterday. Magic Mouse will be the first in the line to be available by the end of October. It will retail for Rs. 3,890.

iMac

The 21.5- and 27-inch iMacs will start from Rs. 64,900 and go up to Rs. 106,900 depending on the configuration. The entry-level Mac Mini is priced at Rs. 33,900 while a faster Mac Mini with larger RAM and storage will go for Rs. 43,900. There’s no Mac Mini meant for Snow Leopard Server for the Indian market.

The new 21.5-inch 3.06 GHz iMac, for a maximum retail price of Rs. 64,900 (MRP), includes:
21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 LED-backlit display;
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB shared L2 cache;
4GB 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM expandable to 16GB;
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics;
500GB Serial ATA hard drive running at 7200 rpm;
