Samsung announces 23-inch XL2370 LED Monitor

July 6, 2009 By Samsung Hub Leave a Comment

Samsung XL2370 LED Monitor

Samsung has announced XL2370 LED monitor that is touted to be the Korean’s high performance display. Well, it is indeed high performing and scores on the technology, environment and aesthetic fronts.

Performance-wise the monitor supports full HD resolution, a response time of 2ms, 5,000,000:1dynamic contrast ratio and topping it with a Windows 7 certification. Moving to its eco-friendly features, the monitor consumes 40 percent less power than the monitors of the same size and also makes it free from mercury or halogen since the monitor adopts LED as the light source. In addition to this, the ToC (Touch of Color) design eliminates the use of harmful paints and sprays and paper cushioning instead of Styrofoam will make the packaging eco-friendly.

If visual appeal is all you need, XL2370 won’t disappoint either. The monitor incorporates the ToC design coupled with crystal-like bezel frame and acrylic neck stand that gives an illusion of a floating monitor.

XL2370 will be available in mid-July in Korea for KRW 498,000 (USD 393) while the rest of the world will get from August.
