Asus showed its Eee PC Shell netbook (1008HA) at the press conference yesterday. The 10-inch netbook is just 2.5cm thin and weighs 1.1kg. The model has been made to look a bit different from the rest of Eee PC range with its shiny pearl colored chassis. On the software front, it features an application launcher called as Eee Docking which gives one click access to apps like Eee Sharing, Eee Arena etc. Eee Sharing allows easy synchronization with other Eee PCs while Eee Arena looks like an online portal which gives access to songs, videos, games, magazines and more.
The processor, RAM, HDD details are not known but it will have a multitouch trackpad, SRS sound tech, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, WiMAX 3.75G and 1.3MP camera.
