Taking some insight from the retail channels, Digitimes is reporting that Asus will advance to blur the line between the netbooks and notebooks. Sometime in mid-April, Asus will reveal Eee PC 1004DN with an optical drive. Other info associated with this is that it will have an Intel Atom N280 processor with GN40 chipset, 120GB HDD and will be priced at around US$531-590.

The Asus Eee PC 1008HA Shell netbook will follow this one in May.
