Spice Mobile is not a popular name here in India because of the strong presence of international players like Nokia, Samsung and others. But they have been making constant efforts to make themselves count. They had announced their optical drive phone (which is yet to be released) and now a gaming phone. The X-1 phone bundles some games, has a 2.4-inch display which automatically orientates to landscape or portrait mode and for gaming, tiny controller is bundled or a user can play with dedicated gaming keys on the phone. If this still didn’t amaze you, Spice has put 3D surround sound support courtesy Yamaha, sticks a decent 2 megapixel sensor, Bluetooth, expandable memory and has FM Radio. Phone will sell at Rs. 8,899 ($212).
