Spice Fire One runs Firefox OS, goes for just Rs. 2,299

Spice has become the first company in India to launch a Firefox OS running phone. Targeted at consumers who’re looking to switch from feature phones to smartphones, the Fire One Mi – FX 1 is priced at just Rs. 2,299, thus allowing consumers to access social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and other apps on the cheap.

As far as the hardware is concerned, the phone features Dual SIM EDGE support, 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1.3 megapixel rear-facing and 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, support for multiple Indian languages and Firefox Marketplace support for apps.

Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1 will be available on Snapdeal exclusively before reaching regular retail channels.
