Credit Card forgery is one of the biggest worry for most of the customers and the companies providing the service. And also there have been many solutions before to counter this but the newest and the promising of the lot is a credit card developed by Innovative Card Technologies and eMue Technologies. It contains a 12 digit keypad, a display and a microprocessor which helps the user to obtain a passcode which is valid only for one transaction.
To use the card, a user is required to enter a PIN with the help of the keyboard which is located at the back of the card. The card then generates a unique one-time valid passcode which is instantly authorized by the authentication server. The commercial viability is still vague but after it happens, we can definitely expect a reduction in the online fraud.
