Samsung announced a new slider phone for the European market today. the SGH-E900 which was displayed at the CeBIT this year is a triband phone and will feature a 2″ screen with 262k colors, EDGE, 2MP camera with support for video recording, MP3, Bluetooth, USB and support for TransFlash Cards.
The phone is sleek, its thickness measures just 16.5mm and weighs 93 grams. The phone is expected in Europe, Russia and CIS this month. Watch one more pic after the jump.

On mine, when charging, the screen stays on the whole time. I am worried about it burning in… I can find nothing about a screen save in this charging mode in the manual. any thoughts?

I have a samsung phone, but the screen doesn’t remain on…as u said…maybe contact samsung for support. They will surely suggest something.

i am thinking of upgrading to a e900 just a bit concerned about talk time , are there any bigger batteries available ?

the talk time is more than 3 hours…but i dont think you could get a more power batteries from samsung.

My E900 has just started playing up. It wont let me use the joystick buttons, or the keypad buttons. The touch screen works fine. Anyone know whats up with it?
