Sony details Android Jelly Bean, KitKat plans

Sony today confirmed Android rollout plans for its Xperia range of devices. Starting next month, devices like Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 will get Android 4.3.

Additionally, Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V will also get a software bump to Android 4.3.

As for Android 4.4 KitKat, Sony hasn’t committed to any timeline but Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z1, Xperia Tablet Z and Xperia Z Ultra will be the first devices to get the latest Android update.
