The red Wii and DSi XL that were introduced in Japan sometime back will also sell in the North American market. Nintendo has announced the availability of limited edition red Nintendo Wii and DSi XL to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. game on the NES.
The red Wii goes for just $199.99 and is bundled New Super Mario Bros game, Wii Remote Plus controller and Wii Sports.
On the other hand, the handheld console is also dipped in the red hue and is pre-loaded with three Super Mario Bros.-themed graphics and comes with Mario Kart DS game. It will retail for $179.99.
Nintendo has also announced the availability of Wii Remote Plus that integrates the MotionPlus functionality right into the Wii Remote. It will sell for $39.99.
Both the limited edition consoles will go on sale from November 7.
