Nintendo paints Wii in Red to celebrate Super Mario Bros.’ 25th birthday

Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. is turning 25 this month and to commemorate its special place in our gaming lives, Nintendo has announced a Wii Super Mario Bros. Edition in Red color. In addition to the new color, the console will also include a Wii Remote Plus controller that integrates Motion Plus and a copy of Super Mario Bros. game having gold coin bricks with “25” on the front instead of a “?”.
The special edition will hit Japan on November 11 for 20,000 yen or about US$240.
