Nintendo Wii

Wii U won’t be out until next year but to keep consumers interested, Nintendo will roll out a new Wii console with slightly revamped design. Unlike the original Wii, the new Wii has been designed to sit horizontally and will strip off compatibility with GameCube games. Nintendo will also release a Family Edition bundle that will come with the new Wii, Wii Remote Plus, nunchuk and Wii Sports and Wii Party games.

Stripping off a feature will expectedly cut the console’s price but Nintendo hasn’t confirmed the price. It will be released in Europe in time for Christmas.
