We already know a lot of things about YP-MB2 and now one new piece of information has trickled out from our source. He claims that YP-MB2 will be “more or less similar to South Korean version of Galaxy S (SHW-M110S).” We’re not sure if he claimed about the design but when going through the specs, it does make sense. YP-MB2’s specs are similar to Galaxy S phone.
The common specs between both these devices are 4-inch WVGA AMOLED screen (mostly Super AMOLED), Wi-Fi, GPS, TouchWiz UI 3.0. The only difference we know for now is Bluetooth, which in case of YP-MB2 is Bluetooth 2.1 and Galaxy S has Bluetooth 3.0.
We’re not 100 percent sure on this one but it wouldn’t really hurt if Samsung thought it could cash in on Galaxy S’ popularity in the PMP market.
[Thanks, Jeonn!]
