Just as expected, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Player 5.8. Interestingly, Samsung is pitching the media player at students due to the large 5.8-inch display and Learning Hub that will host a decent amount of educational content.
As for the hardware, the Android 4.0 running media player features a 5.8-inch 16:9 display with qHD resolution support (960×540 pixels), mDNIe (Mobile Digital Natural Engine), SoundAlive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, front speakers, 3MP and front-facing VGA cameras, ChatON, 2500mAh battery, 16 or 32GB internal memory and microSD card slot.
