South Koreans will be the first ones to enjoy Samsung’s full HD 3D LED TVs. The 46- and 55-inches from both Series 7000 and 8000 have been announced for South Korea while Europeans will get it from March.
Samsung is expecting a global sales target of 2m units, which may seem aggressive but Samsung is confident of meeting it because of the underlying technologies that make these TVs ahead of the competition, content deals and aggressive marketing. To provide 3D content globally, Samsung has joined hands with Dreamworks Animation. Samsung is also in talks with other studios and game developers.
These Samsung TVs boast slim and attractive design, advanced Hyper-real engine, up to 16 times better Clear Motion Rate, 2D to 3D content conversion, 3D Active Glasses, DLNA, Internet@TV, Skype support and up to 40 percent lower power consumption when compared to traditional LCD TVs.
