Apple tablet rumors are coming in thick and fast. The latest one to be added comes from Silicon Alley Insider whose “plugged-in source” in the mobile industry claims Apple is asking select developers to prepare apps suitable for a larger screen. The apps are meant to be shown as demos next month, which also happens to be the alleged month of Apple tablet.
Apple has asked developers to build apps supporting full screen resolution instead of iPhone’s fixed 320×480 pixels. The source also notes that the device won’t go on sale immediately but will be launched later in order to give app makers time to build apps as well as create hype about the product.
The size of the Apple tablet is still unclear but the rumors suggest it could come in sizes of 7- or 10- to 11-inches.
