ION powered Eee Box EB1012 comes to the party

Asus has unveiled its first nettop that will be based on Nvidia’s ION platform. The Eee Box EB1012 scores on few fronts against its local competitor’s Aspire Revo like the inclusion of dual core Atom N330 CPU and Wi-Fi antenna.
The rest of the specs include 2GB RAM that can be upped to 4GB, 250GB HDD, GeForce 9400M GPU, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, card reader, HDMI-out, USB and one eSATA port and optional Bluetooth. The machine will come with Vista Home Premium OS which can later be upgraded to Windows 7.
