Apple’s App Store passes 1 Billion mark

Congratulations, Apple. Their cash rich App Store has passed the 1 billion app downloads milestone in just nine months of its launch. It also marks the end of the giveaway where a lucky user will walk away with a $10k iTunes gift card, Macbook Pro, iPod Touch and Time Capsule. Apple hasn’t revealed the winner yet but should be out in a week or so.
