There’s no denying that Apple’s App Store is one of the best things to happen to the smartphone industry. Not only it paved way for others to copy their business model, it gave developers a chance to showcase and sell their apps. And now in under three years after Apple hit the first billion, the iPhone maker is ready to flaunt its upcoming milestone of 25 billion downloads.
Just like every time, Apple is counting down to the 25 billion landmark and boy, its inching closer by more than 1,000 downloads per second. That’s phenomenal!
Anyways, Apple is celebrating the occasion by giving away a US$10,000 App Store Gift Card to the lucky person downloading the 25 billionth app.
