ZTE U990

Chinese handset maker, ZTE is excited to display its entire range of smartphones at the next week’s MWC expo. There will be 10 different phones to grace its booth and ZTE is banking on VF 1231 to be the show stealer that they have developed specially for Vodafone. VF 1231 will be a Windows Mobile powered phone with GSM and EDGE functionalities. Few other phones that will be showcased are:

XIANG Series – 3.5G slim HSDPA/HSUPA handsets
e760 – GSM phone made for China Mobile
D820/D810 – CDMA handset for China Telecom
U981 – smartphone by China Mobile launched during Beijing Olympics last year

The possibility of an Android based phone seems low since VF 1231 is the major highlight of its showcase. They’ll be displaying the phones at Hall 8, B127 from Feb 16.
