Creative Zii Computing Chip to be unveiled at CES

Update: Read our take on the Zii.
Creative has got a teaser website running about its new technology called Zii. Of course, it does sound like our beloved Wii, but this one’s not about gaming. Zii as Creative puts it, is about Stemcell Computing.
Though it looks more of a marketing terminology to attract attention, Creative fansite is claiming that Zii is nothing but a new audio processing chip. They also said that it will be different from the X-Fi technology and will be used in almost all upcoming Creative products.
Zii will be unveiled within two weeks at the CES 2009.
