Red Dead Redemption now available on Mobile Devices, Modern Consoles

December 3, 2025 By News Team Leave a Comment

Red Dead Redemption on PS5 and Netflix Games

The classic Western action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games, along with its standalone zombie-themed expansion Undead Nightmare, is now available on iOS, Android, Netflix Games, as well as on modern consoles — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

RDR Comes to Phones

For the first time, Red Dead Redemption is playable on a mobile device. Users with a valid Netflix subscription will be able to download and play the full game on compatible iOS and Android devices. The mobile version includes touchscreen-optimized controls and supports the full single-player campaign plus the expansion.

Modern Console Upgrade

While the game was available on the PS4, Xbox One, and the original Nintendo Switch, owners of the previous-generation variants are eligible for a free upgrade. Along with the upgrade, the game has also been released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the much-needed enhancements like a smooth 60 frames-per-second experience, enhanced image quality, HDR Support, up to 4K resolution support on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and DLSS support.

What’s Included?

Both Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are included in the release. The main game follows outlaw turned federal agent John Marston as he attempts to track down former gang members under threat to his family. The expansion Undead Nightmare reimagines the game world under a zombie plague, offering a standalone horror-themed single-player campaign.

Availability

The game is available now across platforms on their respective stores, but if you are a Netflix or a PlayStation Plus subscriber, users can get it for free on mobile devices and PlayStation consoles, respectively.
