Adding to the expanding list of Gen4 SSDs is Lexar’s NM760. It’s a m.2 NVMe Gen4x4 SSD that boasts up to 10 times faster performance compared to a SATA-based SSD.
The new SSD boasts a reading speed of 5300MB/s and writing speed of 4500MB/s and is backward compatible with the PCIe 3.0 interface. Moreover, the SSD also comes with an optional heatsink that helps to keep the temperature in check for sustained performance and is compatible with the PS5.
The Lexar NM760 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD is now available in 512GB and 1TB storage capacities with the 512GB selling for Rs. 10,000, which is in retrospect, is more expensive than the competition with similar or slightly better offerings.
