OnePlus begins its fitness wearable journey with OnePlus Band

Wearable fitness bands have been since long and in abundance. To enter the already crowded segment, OnePlus has announced its OnePlus Band, positioning it as a smart band for everywhere. To start with the features of the OnePlus Band, this dual colour band comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that comes various watch faces out-of-the-box.


The OnePlus Band features continuous blood oxygen saturation monitoring (SPO2), is 5ATM/IP68 water resistance and features a 14-days battery life. In terms of an active lifestyle, the band supports Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga, Free Training. The smart features of OnePlus Band include message notifications, incoming call notification, incoming call rejection, music playback controls, stopwatch, timer, alarm (vibration), camera-shutter controls, Find My Phone, Zen Mode synchronization (with select OnePlus phone models), Weather forecast, OTA upgrades and Charge progress display.

OnePlus band uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to devices and supports Android OS 6.0 or higher. It will retail at Rs. 2499 initially, while the MRP is Rs. 2799. OnePlus also sells band straps priced at Rs. 399.
