Mobvoi launches TicWatch smartwatches in India

Mobvoi is a China-based AI company into consumer electronics announced the availability of Mobvoi Smartwatches in India. Mobvoi has launched three models in India, in the premium range, the TicWatch Pro, the classic TicWatch C2 and the fitness-focused TicWatch E2. All the watches feature AMOLED display and are powered by Wear OS by Google. The Smartwatches run with devices on Android 6.0 or iOS 10 and later.

The highlight of TicWatch Pro is that it features a dual-layer display. One is an AMOLED display and the other is LED display. The smartwatch features are activated on the AMOLED screen and essential features like time display are showcased on the LED display, thus helping to gain maximum out of its battery. The AMOLED display or the Smart Mode lets you use all the WearOS features whereas in the Essential Mode or LED More, the watch delivers black and white display with a focus on fitness, like step counter, time etc.

As per Mobvoi, the smartwatch straps are made of genuine Italian leather on the outward side and skin and sweat friendly silicone layer on the inward side. TicWatch Pro features a heart rate sensor, is IP68 water and dust resistant has built-in GPS and NFC that supports Google Pay. The watch has a carbon fiber/stainless steel casing. TicWatch Pro is priced at Rs. 22,999 and is available on Amazon India.

The second watch is the TicWatch C2 that has a round stainless steel case and is smaller in size than other TicWatches. Its feature list includes IP68 water and dust resistance, built-in GPS, and NFC with Google Pay support. TicWatch C2 is also powered by Google WearOS and is available in Rose Gold, Onyx and Platinum colours, TicWatch C2 is priced at Rs 17,999.

The third watch to launch in India is the TicWatch E2 that features an all polycarbonate case and silicone straps. This watch is targeted at sports enthusiasts and for people who want to use it more for fitness and sports rather than casual wear. The watch features built-in GPS, 24-hour heart rate monitoring and self-prompted tracking supported by Mobvoi’s in-house AI algorithms and even has a waterproof rating of 5ATM, making it swim-ready up to 50m underwater and offers an analysis of your swimming session. TicWatch E2 is priced at Rs 13,999.
