Sony launched its new MASTER Series A9G 4K HDR OLED televisions in India. The 4k HDR OLED TVs are available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen size. The A9G features pixel contrast booster for more colour and contrast in bright areas with 8-million self-illuminating pixels. It also scales up SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) content to near 4K quality.

With regards to the sound, the Master Series A9G features Sound-from-Picture Reality technology which reproduces the position of the sound on the screen and it appears to be coming directly from them and not from a speaker at the bottom of the screen. One of the highlights of the TV is that it comes with a picture mode specially developed for Netflix called NETFLIX Calibrated Mode, it lets you enjoy Netflix Originals in the same picture quality on the TV as the creators intended. The A9G OLED is an Android Smart TV that supports apps from Google Play. The TV also has Google Assistant built-in that lets you use Google Assistant Voice Commands to control the TV. Besides this, the TV also supports smart speakers like Google Home or Amazon Echo. The bundled smart remote control uses RF (Radio Frequency) so that you can use the remote without the need to point at the TV.

Besides A9G, Sony also launched the A8G series with 55-inch and 65-inch screen size. Both these TVs feature 4K HDR picture quality. Like the A9G, the A8G also supports Acoustic Surface Audio.
