Croma CRER2077 Tan Bluetooth Speaker

July 30, 2019 By Anish Leave a Comment

Croma CRER2077 Tan Bluetooth Speaker

Bluetooth speakers are available aplenty, from tiny portable to premium ones that come in all shapes and sizes. The Croma CRER2077 Tan Bluetooth speaker reviewed here is different than the rest of the speakers available in the market. The speaker looks premium, with the silver front grille and wood finish exterior making it an ideal drawing-room piece that will make sure your guests give a second look.

The oval-shaped speaker sports a silver front grille and the rear featuring a sub-woofer for bass effect. The speaker is mounted on a non-removable stand with the base featuring physical controls like the power button, Volume High/Low and M (for pairing with additional Bluetooth supported speaker).

The speaker delivers 25 Watts RMS Audio output power, supports Bluetooth connectivity, is powered by a DC adapter, and comes with an auxiliary cable and wireless remote control. The Croma CRER2077 supports 2.1 channel audio system.

You can start listening through the speaker by pairing it with any Bluetooth-enabled device or connect the audio device via the provided aux cable. The Croma CRER2077 comes with a feature called Twin Pairing that lets you connect two Croma CRER2077 speakers simultaneously for improved audio performance. The wireless remote control lets you control the playback. However, we were not impressed with the build quality of the remote control. It looks and feels flimsy, which is a complete opposite of the main speaker unit that looks and feels upmarket giving it a premium finish.

Moving on to the performance, right from the initial setup to the sound output, we were satisfied with what CRER2077 had to offer. The audio quality on the CRER2077 is excellent with a good amount of bass and no distortion even at a higher volume.

The Croma CRER2077 is not a smart speaker but if you really want to enjoy using Alexa on it, you can consider getting the Echo Input. This small device will connect to the speaker via aux or Bluetooth and allow users to enjoy Alexa’s functionality with the CRER2077. The Echo Input retails for Rs. 2,999.

To conclude, the Croma CRER2077 is a great looking and sounding speaker priced at Rs. 5,990 and is available at Croma, Tata Cliq and Amazon India. At this price point, the CRER2077 is a no-brainer if you are looking for a premium-looking speaker to be placed in your drawing room.
