OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro announced globally

OnePlus has once again upped the game in the phone market by announcing the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Successors to the OnePlus 6T, both these devices are powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. The Pro version is the flagship of the both with high-end specs in terms of camera, memory, and storage.

One of the highlights of the phone is the curved edge-to-edge screen that is 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. It also features HDR10 and HDR10+. The display of the phone is certified as A+ by DisplayMate. On the cameras, the device has a three rear camera setup with a pop-up front-facing camera. The rear main camera is 48-megapixel, with a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The OnePlus 7 Pro rear camera is rated at 111 by DxOMark, one of the highest across phones released in 2019.

To up the performance, OnePlus 7 Pro features UFS 3.0 that provides faster access to data and comes in variants up to 12GB RAM. For gaming, OnePlus feature a liquid cooling system and RAM boost. On the battery front, the OnePlus Pro 7 features a 4000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30 which charges the phone to 50% level in just 30 minutes. The phone also features a faster screen unlock and a set of enlarged Dolby dual stereo speakers.

The RAM and storage options in the Pro series starts from 6GB to 12GB and 128GB to 256GB. The colour options available are Mirror Gray, Nebula Blue and Almond. The 6GB/128GB version retails for Rs. 48,999, 8GB/256GB version for Rs. 52,999 and the 12GB/256GB for Rs. 57,999.

The other phone in the series, OnePlus 7 though is powered by the same processor and rear camera, that is 48-megapixel. However, it comes with dual rear cameras and front camera that is in the water-drop notch. The OnePlus 7 is identical to the OnePlus 6T in terms of design. Like the Pro version, the OnePlus 7 features UFS 3.0, In-display fingerprint sensor and 6.41-inch display screen. The phone comes in 6GB/6GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB storage option. The battery is rated at 3700mAh. The 6GB/128GB version will retail for Rs. 32,999, 8GB/256GB at Rs. 37,999. The phones are available in Mirror Gray and Red colours. The phones will be available on Amazon India.
