Amazon now bundles Alexa Voice Remote with Fire TV Stick

Amazon has quietly updated the product page of its regular Fire TV Stick, which will now be bundled with the new Alexa Voice Remote. The updated bundle will be available from next week but customers can pre-order it at the same price of Rs. 3,999.

For users who are not looking to buy a new Fire TV Stick, Amazon is also selling the standalone remote at Rs. 999, a 50 per cent discount over the original.

The new remote addresses customer’s number one complaint and now comes with an IR sensor that allows the TV to power on or off and control the volume. Compared to the previous remote, the new one also has better battery life.
