What do you do if you want to capture premium and affordable device segment? You launch a sub-brand, this is now getting very common with Chinese companies like the OPPO who has a affordable device brand – Realme, Huawei who has Honor and now Xiaomi has come up with POCO in India. POCO focusses on affordable flagships albeit with a few less bells and whistles.

The POCO F1 features Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options to select from. It also supports external micoSD card up to 256GB storage. The phone features a 5.99-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a notch that houses the Infrared face unlock technology and the front camera. There is a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel at the rear. The front camera is 20-megapixel. It also features the AI technology for enhanced photography.  POCO F1 focusses on gaming and as a result comes with liquid cooling technology. For all-day gaming and usage the phone sports a massive 4000mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support. One of the highlight of the phone is also 4G+ optimisation by Xiaomi, resulting in 275% faster data throughput, this is especially for India.  The 6GB version comes with poly-carbonate body and the 8GB/256GB version comes with a Kevlar Aramid fibre rear called as the armor edition. It looks premium and is also scratch resistant. The phone features a Type C USB port for charging and also a 3.5-mm headphone jack.
