Apple will not release group Facetime in iOS 12 at launch

One of the highlights of the upcoming iOS 12 was the group Facetime that Apple previewed at the iOS 12 event. Group Facetime allows video chats with up to 32 people, however as a disappointment to many, Apple has released a statement to the developers stating, “Group FaceTime has been removed from the initial release of iOS 12″ Even in the latest developer beta release 7, Apple has removed this feature. As per Apple, this will ship in a future software update. Other messaging apps like WhatsApp have the video calling feature that allow four persons to chat. The upcoming macOS Mojave will be skipped with the Group Facetime during its launch.
