August 8, 2018 By Anish Leave a Comment

Seems like, after yesterday’s leak of Mi A2 pricing by Amazon India, Xiaomi has changed the price for its Mi A2 4GB/64GB version to Rs. 16,999. Whatever the price be, the Mi A2 has surely good camera sensors and is supported by the Android One program. Xiaomi announced the same today officially at an event in Delhi. There are dual cameras at the rear, 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel with AI capability. The 20-megapixel sensor has Super Pixel-enabled sensor with a large ƒ/1.75 aperture and the 12-megapixel sensor features 1.25µm large pixels and a ƒ/1.75 aperture as well. Like most current generation cameras, Mi A2 cameras can capture portrait photos with Bokeh effect. It also features the 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 front camera. One can also manually select the rear lens, 20-megapixel or 12-megapixel to shoot with. Other camera features include, AI Portrait, AI Beautify 4.0 and HDR, as well as a 4500K front Selfie-light and EIS (electronic image stabilization). At this price point, this surely seems a good buy for photography enthusiasts.

The hardware specifications include a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, rear fingerprint sensor, 3010mAh battery with quick charge support and USB Type C port. It will be available on Mi.com and Amazon.in on pre-order starting tomorrow 9th August post which it will go on weekly sale starting 16th August 2018 from 12:00 Noon across Mi.com, Amazon.in and Mi Home stores.
