HTC unveiled two new phones, the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+. Both these devices feature 18:9 display ratio screen. The HTC Desire 12 features 5.5-inch screen and the Desire 12+ features a larger 6-inch screen. The Desire 12 and Desire 12+ both sport 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, however, the Desire 12 runs on Mediatek processor and the Desire 12+ on Snapdragon 450 processor.
The Desire 12 has a single 13-megapixel lens and the Desire 12+ comes with dual cameras, 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel. The front camera is 8-megapixel. The Desire 12+ runs on Android Oreo, there is no clarity for the Desire 12 Android OS version, however, HTC does mention that there will be an update to the OS. Hence we can speculate that the phone might run on Android 7 out-of-the-box and shall be updated to Android O later.
