Comio S1 Lite Review

May 28, 2018 By Anish Leave a Comment

Its march of the budget phones in India. With data getting cheaper, entry level smartphones are also becoming affordable. The entry level segment or the budget segment is ruled by Xiaomi, however, there are many companies trying to cash in this segment. One such player is Comio, a fairly new entrant to the market.

Comio S1 Lite is a budget phone for people who want to use 4G services at affordable cost. The phone looks decent with good build quality. The one we have reviewed here is Sunrise Gold colour. The front face of the phone is white and the rear is golden in colour.

The screen size of the phone is 5-inch with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. While off-late budget devices feature 18:9 aspect ratio display, the S1 Lite comes with conventional 16:9 aspect ratio. The manufacturer provides a protection to the screen called M-Wall. This is a fancy name to a good quality tempered glass.

The phone is powered by Mediatek MTK6737 1.3 Ghz processor. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage that can be expanded to 128GB with an external microSD card. As an entry-level phone, the performance of this phone is nothing to write home about.

In terms of imaging, the phone comes with 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera features auto-focus and wide-camera angle for selfies. It also features face-beauty for selfies. Video recording is supported at 720p. The camera takes decent pictures even in low-light due to the flash led.

The phone runs on 3050 mAh battery. Since the phone features moderate configuration, the battery lasts for almost a day with regular usage. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Comio UI. The phone also comes with anti-theft feature and can be helpful in case you lose the phone.

Overall, if you are looking for a budget Android smartphone with VoLTE support, the Comio S1 Lite will not disappoint you. The phone is priced at Rs. 7,599.
