It’s that time of the year again when Apple paints its devices red with a special (PRODUCT)RED. Apple launches these colourful devices for a cause. For all (PRODUCT)RED devices and accessories sold, a portion of proceeds go directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants. Since the inception of this partnership in 2006, Apple has donated more than USD160 million to the Global Fund.
Besides new red coloured iPhones, Apple has also launched the red iPhone X Leather Folio. This leather folio is made from specially tanned and finished European leather. Phone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available in 64GB and 256GB models starting at an Apple retail price of Rs. 67,940.
Both special edition models are available to order beginning Tuesday, April 10. The new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio will be available through Apple Authorised Resellers for Rs. 7,900 and joins other (PRODUCT)RED products including Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones, and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
