Huawei Watch 2 comes to India

September 14, 2017 By Anish 1 Comment

After announcing this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), Huawei brings the Huawei Watch 2 for India. The watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and features independent connectivity. This means that this 4G supported watch can be used without the need of a smartphone. The watch is also compatible with both Android and iOS, thus iPhone users can also use this watch.

Independent connectivity also ensures that you can leave your mobile behind while going for a jog or cycling. The watch features built-in GPS and also apps like Uber, Foursquare and Facebook Messenger. The watch comes with VoLTE support and dual-mic noise elimination for better talk quality.

In terms of logging in fitness parameters, the watch features built-in sensors to collect comprehensive data on user activity, including distance, speed, steps, heart rate, heart rate range, calories, gait, route and more.

The Watch 2 has a classical wristwatch design that integrates its smart features and sports function while maintaining a stylish look. Made from sophisticated materials, a dual crown design delivers a premium feel. The high-definition display is customisable with multiple face designs, allowing users quick access to their favorite and most frequently used apps. In addition to a chronograph design, Watch 2 features a ceramic bezel.

Huawei Watch 2 will be available in three versions, Sports (Bluetooth) that will retail for Rs. 20,999, Sports (4G) retailing for Rs. 29,999 and Classic Bluetooth retailing for Rs. 25,999.

While Watch 2 Sports (Bluetooth) will remain exclusive to Amazon.in and will be available from 13 September 2017, Sports (4G) and Classic (Bluetooth) will also be available in offline retail stores across India. Additional interchangeable color bands will also be announced later this year.
