Razer produces one of the best gaming-related devices in the world. They’ve got mouse, keyboards, laptops, desktops and even a compact TV console, all dedicated to gaming. Despite the huge potential, Razer was missing in the mobile space, until today. They’ve announced the acquisition of Nextbit, a small mobile startup based out of San Francisco, known for the Robin smartphone.
What Razer intends to do with the company is under wraps at the moment but we won’t be surprised if we see a phone that focuses on the gaming.
Nextbit will currently “operate as a standalone business unit” and will continue to support its Robin smartphone.
