Lenovo launches the Legion line of gaming notebooks

Lenovo introduced the gaming line of laptops – the Legion which consists of Y520 and Y720 laptops. The new Legion line of laptops are developed with the feedback from the gaming community to provide gamers a superior experience.

The Legion Y520 gives you the option to select the processor up to the latest Intel Core i7 processor. The Y520 is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card and hybrid storage solution for fast gaming. In terms of audio, the Y520 features 2x2W Harman speakers with Dolby Audio Premium sound capability. In terms of other specifications, the Y520 features up to 16GGB RAM, in the storage front, you get an option to go with an SSD or SATA interface hard drive. The 15.6-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution displays sharp pictures.

The laptop weighs 2.4kg and features regular connectivity ports. Lenovo Legion Y520 Laptop starts at $899.99 and will be available in the beginning of February 2017.

The other gaming laptop, the Legion Y720 is on the higher side of the configuration. This is a 4K gaming laptop with QHD resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and is Oculus certified for virtual reality gaming. Lenovo provides you to select the configuration in terms of processor. You can either select the 5th generation Intel i7 processor or the latest 7th generation Intel i7 processor. The graphics is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. The Y720 is also integrated Xbox One Wireless Controller support and an optional multi-color backlight programmable keyboard for gamers to chose how they want to play. In terms of laptop cooling, the Y720 features dual metal fans and rear air vents.

The storage and memory options remains the same like the Y520. The Y720 additionally features a Thunderbolt3 port. The Legion Y720 laptop starts at $1,399.99, and will be available by April 2017.
