Micromax launches Vdeo series phones with Google Duo preinstalled

To popularise video calling via smartphones, Micromax launched the Vdeo series phones, the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2. Both the phones are 4G VoLTE compatible running on Android Marshmallow and comes pre-bundled with Reliance Jio SIM with 3 months of unlimited free data and voice calling.

The Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 feature a 4-inch and 4.5-inch WVGA & FWVGA display respectively. Both smartphones are powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 1GB RAM. For the video calls, the phone comes pre-loaded with Google Duo. In terms of camera, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. Storage remains at 8GB. The Vdeo 1 is powered by 1600mAh battery and Vdeo 2 features 1800mAh battery. Priced for entry level buyers, the Vdeo 1 will retail for Rs. 4,440 and Vdeo 2 for Rs. 4,990. At a later stage Micromax will also release Vdeo 3 and Vdeo 4 smartphones.
