Sony schedules an event on September 7, PS4 Neo on the cards

Sony’s upcoming PS4 was confirmed in June by Sony Interactive Entertainment’s president and CEO, Andrew House on the sidelines of E3 expo and now it seems Sony is preparing for the official announcement. In a press invite sent to journalists, Sony has scheduled a “PlayStation Meeting” event in New York on September 7.

The invite understandably does not reveal anything but it’s safe to assume that it will be related to PS4 Neo aka PS4.5.

What PS4 Neo will have is still a mystery but the rumours are apparent about a more powerful console to handle 4K and PlayStation VR and power efficient than the current PS4 iteration.
