Lenovo India unveils VIBE S1 with two front-facing cameras

November 23, 2015 By Anish Leave a Comment

vibe-s1

Lenovo first showed the VIBE S1 at IFA couple of months back and now the company has announced the device for the Indian market. The phone competes directly with the OnePlus X not only in terms of design but also in terms of hardware. The 7.8mm phone has a metal frame with a curved glass at the back and also tries to one up the OnePlus X with a larger internal storage of 32GB and two front-facing cameras.

Two front-facing cameras allows users to take pictures with one sensor and calculate depth with another to enhance the selfies like creating a bokeh effect or cut out the subject to place it in front of fun backgrounds.

As far as hardware goes, the phone features a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. Additionally, the phone has 13 megapixel camera at the back, 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel on the front, Dual SIM support, LTE support, microSD card slot and 2500mAh battery.

The phone will go on sale from midnight tonight for Rs. 15,999 in colour options of white and blue on Amazon.in.
