Brother India announced its new range of ink tank printers in the Indian market. Competing with Epson’s wide portfolio, Brother will sell three printers in India – DCP-T300, DCP-T500W, DCP-T700W with T300 as the entry-level model.
All the printers offer print, scan and copy functionality, however, the T500W and T700W add the Wi-Fi functionality to printer wirelessly and even through Brother’s iOS or an Android app. The T700W also adds 20 sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) feature.
The new inkjet range boasts a 6000 page yield for the black ink whereas 5000 page yield for colour with affordable refill ink prices (Rs. 670 for black and Rs. 440 each for colour).
These printers also work around some of the negatives of Epson’s ink tank implementation by integrating the ink tanks that frees up space and makes it easier for transportation. Furthermore, Brother has also made refilling easy by enabling users to refill at a 45-degree angle.
The T300 and T500W are available now for Rs. 11,100 and Rs. 12,150 respectively while the T700W will go on sale later this month for Rs. 14,750.
