Microsoft has gone on an offensive and have made it their goal to bring Windows 10 OS on as many devices. The Redmond-based giant has now announced to make Windows 10 free for developers developing solutions on Raspberry Pi 2. The Raspberry Pi Foundation launched the new Raspberry Pi 2 for $35 that features a 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB LPDDR2 RAM and compatible with Raspberry Pi 1.
Microsoft says the OS will be available to the community through the Windows Developer Program for IoT later this year. The program will also bring Microsoft’s development tools, services to the Raspberry Pi community.
