Asus India launches new devices under Transformer series

Asus has added a slew of products that will be up for sale in the Indian market. Expanding its famous Transformer Series are Transformer Flip Book – a 15.6-inch innovative laptop with 360-degree rotating touchscreen, Transformer T200 – a 2-in-1 ultraportable laptop with 11.6-inch Tablet and Transformer Pad TF103 – a tablet with looks.

Asus Transformer Book Flip (TP550LD) is a 15.6-inch Windows 8.1 convertible that enables users to tilt the screen at any angle and even flip it to transform it into a full-fledged Windows tablet. The screen supports a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and is powered by Intel’s Core i3 & i5 processors, Nvidia GeForce NV 820M discrete graphics and Instant On technology that takes just two seconds to resume from sleep and has a standby time of up to 14 days in sleep mode. The device is also equipped with Asus’ Splendid technology for improved colours and SonicMaster for amazing audio.

The Transformer Book Flip (TP550LD) will come in two variants with the processor being the only difference. The Intel Core i3 variant will sell for Rs. 47,999 whereas the Core i5 variant will sell for Rs. 53,999.

Asus Transformer Book T200

The Transformer Book T200 is a Windows powered ultraportable that features an 11.6-inch display and comes with a detachable keyboard to use the device as a tablet. The Transform Book T200 again has the same 1366×768 pixel display and is powered by Intel’s Z3775 Bay Trail processor with Intel HD graphics. It also features USB 3.0 ports, 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel rear and front-facing cameras respectively, Miracast and 10 hours of battery life. The Transformer Book T200 is priced at Rs. 35,999.

Asus Transformer Pad

The Transformer Pad TF103is a 10.1-inch that boasts a 1280×800 IPS display, Intel Atom Z2560 dual core processor and an optional keyboard dock with USB 2.0 port. Promising a battery life of up to 9.5 hours, the tablet comes with Asus’ ZenUI for improved user experience, 2 megapixel rear-facing and front-facing VGA camera, Miracast, 802.11n Wi-Fi, SonicMaster for better audio, Asus Splending to tinker with the display colour, brightness and contrast and 8GB internal memory with an option to expand to up to 64GB via microSD card.

The tablet will sell for Rs. 19,999.
