Xiaomi releases Redmi 1S software update to address heating issues

Xiaomi Redmi 1S Review

Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra has confirmed the company is now rolling out a software update for its cheapest smartphone to address some of the issues faced by Indian users. The v45 update, now available as an OTA fixes the heating issues by improving the thermal control algorithm and has promised to improve it further in future software update rollouts.

Additionally, the update also improves battery life, RAM availability and overall improvement in the performance of the user interface.
