HTC releases Eye Experience software update for One M8

Earlier this week, HTC promised to release the Eye Experience for its existing device users and the company has now released the update for HTC One M8 users in Europe. The Eye Experience brings in many camera-centric features like face tracking, Split Capture, Voice Selfie, Crop-me-in live-makeup and more.

The update also bumps up the Android version to v4.4.4 but as Android Central reports, the version change is just namesake since HTC’s previous Android 4.4.3 update included all the security-related changes.

The update is about 252MB and should reach other regions and devices like HTC One M7, HTC One Mini 2 and HTC One Max in the coming weeks.
