Asus launches Strix range of gaming accessories in India

Asus offers graphics cards and motherboards optimised for gaming and the Taiwanese company is now extending its new Strix range to gaming peripherals as well. The new range now includes gaming headsets, mechanical keyboard, mouse and a mouse pad.

Strix DSP and Strix Pro
Strix DSP is a multi-platform gaming headset that features 60mm neodymium-magnet drivers, driver-free plug-and-play audio station that processes native 7.1-channel surround-sound audio and full-size hexagonal ear cushions for enhanced comfort. The Strix Pro on the other hand also comes with 60mm neodymium-magnet drivers and ENC (environmental noise cancellation) technology that blocks out over 90% of noise thanks to the built-in microphone. Strix DSP and Strix Pro will sell for Rs. 7,670 and Rs. 5,990 respectively.

Strix Tactic Pro
This mechanical keyboard promises a high actions per minute (APM) thanks to the design and 13 dedicated and easy-to-reach macro keys and re-assignable F1-F8/macro keys for a total of 21 one-touch commands. The keyboard also features the highest-specification N-Key Rollover (NKRO) technology over USB and comes with a choice of Cherry MX switch types: Black, Blue, Brown or Red. The Strix Tactic Pro is priced at Rs. 7,250.

Strix Claw
Strix Claw is designed for fast action first-person shooters that offers precision and comfort. The mouse features Japanese-made Omron switches, 5000DPI optical sensor, angle-snap-free movement and flexible DPI controls. Strix Claw goes for Rs. 3,570.

Strix Glide series
The final product in the Strix range is the Glide Control mouse pad that comes with a premium heavy-weave fabric, providing a textured surface for gamers that require fine control and absolute precision. The mouse pad will sell for Rs. 850.
